Introduction
Countin' ("the App") lets you count things in groups and keep a record of the counts.
The App does not collect the group names, item names, or counts you enter. They are stored only on your device.
This policy explains what the App collects and what it does not.
1. What you enter
1-1. Stored only on your device
Group names, item names, counts, and the activity log are stored only on your device.
- They are never sent to our servers
- We cannot see them
- The App has no accounts or sign-in
1-2. Exporting
You can export your data as text, CSV, or a backup file and share it. Where you send it is up to you; we are not involved.
2. Information collected to keep the App working
To find and fix problems, the App collects the following.

These are handled in a way that does not identify you, and never include group names, item names, or counts.
We use Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google LLC.
3. Advertising
The App shows ads from AdMob, provided by Google LLC.
- We serve non-personalized ads only
- We do not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites (the App does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission)
- To serve ads, the ad SDK collects information about your device and how ads are shown
- In the European Economic Area, the UK, and other regions where the law requires it, the App asks for your consent regarding ads

4. Access to device features
The App does not use device features that require your permission, such as the camera, photos, location, or contacts.
When you import a file, the App reads only the file you choose.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your information with third parties, except when required by law.
6. Retention
- What you enter: Stored only on your device. We do not keep it
- Crash reports and usage statistics: Kept according to each service's retention period
7. Your choices
- You can delete what you entered and the activity log in the App at any time
- Deleting the App removes everything stored on your device

8. Children
The App is not directed at children.
