Terms of Use

These Terms set out the conditions for using HACK CHECK ("the App"). By using the App, you are taken to have agreed to them.

Article 1 (What the App can and cannot do)

This Article is the most important part of these Terms.

1. The App presents security-related aspects of your iPhone, based on the information the device makes available.

1. The information iOS makes available to an app is limited. Accordingly, the App gives no warranty whatsoever that:

• you have not been subject to unauthorized access
• no virus, malware or similar is present
• there is no problem in any area the App was unable to check
• the results are complete or accurate

1. The results are no more than "the state of things within what the App was able to check", and are not a substitute for investigation by a professional.

1. The App does not certify safety by virtue of having found no anomaly.

Article 2 (Your responsibility)

1. Decisions and actions taken on the basis of the results — changing settings, operating accounts, deleting data — are taken on your own responsibility.

1. Exporting, copying or sharing results with third parties is done at your own discretion. Exported content includes information about your network and device settings.

Article 3 (Limitation of liability)

1. We accept no liability for any damage arising to you from use of, or inability to use, the App.

1. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, this does not apply where we have acted intentionally or with gross negligence, or where liability cannot be wholly excluded under the Consumer Contract Act or other applicable law. Even then, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

1. The App is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will operate without interruption or that it is fit for any particular purpose.

Article 4 (Prohibited conduct)

In using the App, you must not:

1. act in violation of law or public order and morals
2. use the App on another person's device without their permission
3. analyze, modify or decompile the App
4. interfere with the operation of the App
5. present the results to third parties in a way that misrepresents them

Article 5 (Advertising)

The App displays advertising. We accept no responsibility for the content of that advertising.

Article 6 (Changes to, and discontinuation of, the App)

We may change the App, or discontinue providing it, without prior notice.

Article 7 (Changes to these Terms)

We may change these Terms. Changed Terms take effect when posted on this page.

Article 8 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

1. These Terms are governed by the law of Japan.
2. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute relating to the App.
